Sissu is a beautiful picturesque small place on the banks of Chandra River in Lahaul Valley It is approximately 6 km away from the globally known Atal Tunnel and around 40km from Manali. Sissu is well known for its Autumn season trees and also for its stunning mountain valley. It’s within the Lahaul and Spiti districts.

Best time to visit
Many tourists are visiting Sissu all around the year. Each season has something different to offer and the beauty of the place is incomparable. Now this part depends on multiple factors, there are four seasons in India, Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn. If you are a winter-loving person you can plan a visit during the winter months November to February and if you are a summer person plan between March to June.
Winter:
November to February
Winters are super cold, so be ready with your warmest clothes. When winter descends upon Sissu, it adorns itself with a pristine, snow-covered cloak. The surrounding mountains and landscapes transform into a dreamy white wonderland.
